I suggest re installing and follow instructions ( untick non vr mod ) and add -vr tp desktop shortcut . Launch airlink/or link than launch game from quest 2.
TLDR: link if you want best looking experience, Virtual desktop if you want the best gameplay experience. You will always get the best quality through a cable. The quest can only do 866mbps wirless. Usb 3.1 gen 2 (what the quest uses) maxes out at 5gbps. Over 5x the bandwidth.
The finger tracking is nearly identical and you can just buy haptic gloves anyway. No clue where you're getting that from. $300 for a Quest 2 and $60 for Alyx. Even if you don't like Facebook it's still only $600 (always on sale for $500 direct from HP, including right now) for a Reverb G2 and $60 for Alyx.
