If you push the volume control inwards the radio/media will switch off but stay on the same screen. One of my finds today thanks. It looks like I am going to have to wimp it and read the manual. You can mute it by pressing the volume thumbwheel on the steering wheel too.

Think the Stream mp3 hu was introduced around 56/07, which has aux-in capability, though even if you find an earlier model with the standard Stream it's a doddle to retro-fit an aux-in, at the expense of the cd-changer. Have a Google for "Connects2 adapter", or better still search here on the forum. It was for the MY07.
