You want shift up/shift down set instead. Then on my sequential shifter, I press forward to shift in auto, back to shift back into neutral, and back again to shift into reverse. Thanks, I'll try that. It's like that for me but I like it, I use the 3rd gear for forward, 4th gear on my shifter is reverse.

The stock button to enable cruise control is C unless you changed it in the settings. EDIT: Oh btw the retarder has multiple levels, up to 5 on some trucks.
