hi 206 1.4 hdi cuts out whilst moving fault code p0704 p0230 p0231 many parts change but no resolution new fuel filter fitted ,crank pick up,cam pickup and earthing strap fitted. If the the starter is engaged engine will not start however if the ignition is turned completely off then the engine start. Measure request and actual rail pressure

No need to remove the fuel pump. Remove air filter and duct then it’s 5 bolts on the EGR pipe. Two at top two at bottom and one in the middle. Try blowing through the EGR pipe to test if it has failed. The other thing to do is to blank it off: use sheet steel on the bottom end of the EGR pipe.

If the steering has got heavy check the appropriate fuse to make sure that hasn't blown, they should be listed in your handbook. If it has, replace it but keep an eye on it as fuses don't normally blow for nothing. If it hasn't blown then the motor has probably burnt out but that normally blows the fuse. 2008 Peugeot 207 GTi.
206, 1.4 HDi, year 2006, 100k miles. Car was working fine, parked up, went to use a few hours later and it doesn't crank, just a relay click from the bsi unit and a click from the solenoid of the starter motor. Battery voltage is good, not a battery issue, thought it was the starter motor and just spent this morning replacing it with no difference.
